BUSSTRIO and Matsumoto Kazuya have been performing across the country as a tour repertoire since the premiere at Sorin temple in Tokyo /Yanaka in 2016.
They aim to performance the play100 times nationwide as well as in Japan.
This work quotes from “The Nighthawk Star” よだかの星(Yodaka no Hoshi) ,written by Kenji Miyazawa, and manifold words from poems, interview stories , and real terrorism news. On the stage, the light and shadow relate physical activity of actors.
In addition, Kazuya Matsumoto (musician, percussionist, born in Kanazawa) reflect in the space with improvised sound and elaborate music.
This show takes audience to “here” and “faraway” along with emotion and imagination.
